As it has been mentioned in other posts in this blog, Mr. Beard works almost exclusively as a background character throughout the story. He appears first behind whitey at the airport and is seen in the diner behind David several times. His big moment to shine is asking David about the end of the world and the end of ACT 1.
Mrs. Beard is seen one last time in ACT 3. As David and Judy walk down the street, the familiar over the shoulder shot of Mrs. Beard as seen in the airport is shown again. She is then seen standing in front of a divorce attorney. While it may be a stretch, a man is seen at the bar with his head in his hands on the next page. Could the Be Mr. Beard? His face is not seen but his coat seems to vaguely match.
